Beauty For Life

From the words of Elsie De Wolfe, “I’m going to make everything around me beautiful – that will be my life”. These words resonate passionately with me, for that’s what I aspire too, whether that be through designing a creative space, an artwork, or establishing meaningful relationships with the people I meet along the way. Beauty can be seen everywhere, from outside in a delicate unfolding bud, to inside the soul, letting your love shine through in all you do.

As you may know, Intermix Design was formed out of Landart Aust Pty Ltd, and since then we have been immersed in the creative development of our new Studio, which offers a distinctive and exciting approach to design. We cross-pollinate design fields in visual arts, landscape & interior. This has enabled us to work within a diverse range of environments such as residential, commercial, expos and events.

The ‘Beauty for Life’ collage composition above has been gently pieced together, to present a visual story to captivate you. I collected imagery of various things we love from outside to inside spaces, such as magazine cut outs of objects, textures, patterns and materials, incorporating our own photographs, along with hand mixed paint colours, fibre remnants and foraged treasures from nature. Then all these elements were assembled together to form a unique work of art, a creative expression of beauty all around.

This is this first of many journal entries, we would love to connect with you, share our vibrant world with you, freshly inspire you, where we can chat with you, and offer interesting ways and ideas to visually stimulate your senses. You may even be prompted to invite us to create your own piece of paradise, from outside to inside, to style, or cultivate a concept design that will fulfill all your desires. You may require a commissioned art installation or you may want to select something special from our collections that will be coming soon.
