Initial Design Meeting

This initial meeting is to establish a connection between our team and the client, to discuss the brief including thoughts and ideas, and to gain an understanding of what the client desires for their project. The client will be asked a variety of questions in order for us to gain insight into their specific preferences and enable us to design an immensely personalised space.  An overview of the exterior and interior is required for us to get a feel for the surroundings and to obtain necessary information and specific site characteristics which may influence the direction of the design. We will then provide a quote for the scope of works for client approval. It is also helpful for existing architectural drawings to be provided to us.

Concept Design

Our team will then begin the design process, collating all the information from the initial meeting along with our own research, skills, and knowledge to design a distinctive concept. We provide 1 x concept supported with inspirational mood boards which includes proposed colour palettes, surface design for artwork and pattern, materials for floor, wall, roof, textiles, furniture, accessories, and plants, as well as high quality 2-dimensional technical drawings, and/or 3-dimensional photo-realistic rendered drawings & views to communicate the project from concept to visualisation. We are also flexible with what requirements are needed for each individual project and offer different design packages to suit the client’s needs.

Presentation

The client will be presented onsite with inspirational mood boards, samples, and drawings, along with a conceptual analysis on the thought process to support the concept design. We will also supply quotations for specific construction works, project management and a garden maintenance program.

Construction & Project Management

We can assist with working drawings for permit applications, and the engagement of highly regarded construction contractors and specific trades for the construction phase.  We also offer a consultancy/project management service throughout the implementation of construction works, which is strongly advised to ensure that the design is implemented to the highest standard possible.

Art Installations

We love to incorporate visual art installations into spaces, a statement piece of art can evoke powerful emotions when displayed throughout an interior/exterior environment. We work with a variety of materials, i.e. pots, metalwork, water features, natural paints, mural, stone, acrylic, timber, alucabond, HDPE, glass, external wallpaper, external curtains, outdoor & indoor textiles. Getting a work commissioned gives the client the opportunity to be part of the artistic process. Once the client has agreed with the concept, we will start the design process of creating the required artwork for the conceptual space. Preliminary drawings and mock ups will be supplied to the client, and further discussions will be required. Once the preferred artwork is approved, a quote will be provided for the commissioned artwork to be produced and installed. A copyright written agreement will also be signed between both parties.

Garden Maintenance

We are passionate about the experience and joy one receives from a well-tendered garden. With a wealth of horticultural and design knowledge alongside an artistic and eco-friendly approach we are able to achieve stunning results. We offer a personalized garden maintenance program on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or seasonal basis. Services include soil preparation, biodiversity planting, mulching, hedging, pruning, weeding, organic pest and disease management and fertilising, or you may even like us to harvest your fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers, that we can then prepare and preserve directly from your garden to optimize the best of what your garden has to offer.

Garden Workshops

One of our designer’s will come to your home for a hands-on, one-on-one walkthrough of your garden. We have answers to all your garden-related questions and will offer solutions to any issues. You’ll learn how to best use your space, create a garden journal/calendar, and maximize what can be harvested from your garden for culinary & creative purposes. We can guide you in many paths to achieve a healthy and productive garden in workshops which explore the teachings of edible gardens, composting, propagation, preservation, seed banking, flower & foliage arranging and more.
